He doesn't really remember his father, after all; he's suddenly beset with the feeling that he has to be a good son to this version too. Tough to do when he already knows a Hiro, is surely proud of him ... Another small spike of jealousy goes through him. His alternate may not have had a brother, but he does have his father. Alive in some way, if fundamentally altered.
